Like many Americans, Jason's entertainment consumption habits have had a major role in his life. He's not egotistical enough to think you necessarily have an interest in a book or album because he emphatically recommends it, but he knows you are probably interested to hear about the greatest entertainment experiences there are to be had. And, coincidentally, the greatest entertainment experiences ever just happen to be the experiences that Jason recommends. So, you know, there you go.
First off, Jason is *WAY* into music, more so than any other artistic medium, including software (WHAT?!!). Here is a short list of the albums you must listen to before you die:
The Fragile by Nine Inch Nails
Takk... by Sigur Ros
Avalanche by Matthew Good
The Devil & God Are Raging Inside Me by Brand New
Animals by Pink Floyd
Mechanical Animals by Marilyn Manson
Super Deluxe by Morella's Forest
Presidents Of The United States Of America
Amazing books:
Programming Windows 5th Ed By Charles Petzold
The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Life After God by Douglas Coupland
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
Also, you will not be disappointed if you listen to anything from Stellastarr, The Postal Service, or Silversun Pickups. Also, the movie A.I. is an awesome movie. (Shut up, Amanda [and America at large..], you know I'm right). And, if you dig video games, Pikmin & Pikmin 2 are the two games worth playing, you can mostly forget the rest of them.
